The Anglican Studies Institute is being created as a continuation of the Anglican Studies Podcast by Father Michael McKinnon. The Anglican Studies Podcast has served as a clergy training and development program in the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes and the Special Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces. The Anglican Studies Institute has also proven to be of great value to many laity bringing them to the Catholic Faith expressed in the Anglican Tradition.
The Anglican Church may licitly teach as necessary for salvation nothing but what is read in the Holy Scriptures as God's Word written or may be proved thereby. It therefore embraces and affirms such teachings of the ancient Fathers and Councils of the Catholic Church as are agreeable to the Scriptures.
